In 1986 Otto Sr. and Chris Arslanovski opened an ambitious restaurant in the small town of Burleson. It was in that small kitchen that Our Place was truly born. As a high school student, Otto Jr. spent many hours in his parents' kitchen learning the trade and perfecting the skills that would later feed Fort Worth's hungry masses.
Our Place Fort Worth opened in December 2009 and continues a family tradition of good home cooked food. Specialties include more than 30 homemade soups, hand-breaded chicken-fried steak and chicken, meatloaf, yeast rolls and pies made from scratch. Our Place is open 7 days a week from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm and serves breakfast all day. We were voted Best Home Cooking in Fort Worth. Our Place offers daily specials as well as daily fresh-baked pies and treats.

We have lived here for 12 years, hoping for a breakfast place close to home and FINALLY we got one. And it is a 5 star winner. It has been a long time since pancakes have wowed me. They not only had a wonderful lightly sweet taste but were cooked to perfection. The biscuits were better than homemade and were equally good with gravy or jam. I can't wait to go back for lunch and try the pies! ~Candace
